We have just returned from our weekend Easter Pilgrimage to Rome and have just had to write to you straight away to say what a wonderful weekend we had. It was more than our expectations and I think a lot of this was due to the ‘absolutely fabulous’ guide!

I am sure you have had all good comments about him before, but we had to contact you as soon as we got back to let you know he was brilliant. Nothing was too much trouble for him, he made sure we saw everything, got us the best places to sit, took us to all the sights, told us all there ever is to know about everything.

How that man can remember all the names, dates, times, places is phenomenal.

We told him he should go on the TV programme Mastermind because he would win hands down with his knowledge of Roman History.

Even on our free afternoons he stayed with us and took us out and about.

We just want you to know (and we are sure you already do) what a wonderful asset he is to Pax Travel.

While writing, we must also thank you for the lovely hotel which was so clean and pleasant and the restaurants that Georgio took us to were brilliant.

The food was delicious, the service everything that we experienced on our Pilgrimage was the best.

The fact that we were a very small group (four in all as one lady was unable to come) made it a very personal Pilgrimage and we felt we were a little group of friends going about together.
