Happy Birthday Pax
Pax Travel, one of the three leading pilgrimage operators in Great Britain, celebrates its 34th anniversary this month. February 1978 was when we started up. The Managing Director and joint owner of Pax Travel, Philip Dean, is still at the helm supported by a talented young multi-lingual team. Since 1978, Pax has carried over 100,000 pilgrims to places of pilgrimage ranging from the Holy Land to Mexico. We can list over 100 countries, towns or cities where we have taken pilgrims and indeed are still doing. We have also welcomed pilgrimage groups from USA, Canada, Australia, South Africa and many other countries to these shores.
Italian Tourist Board Award
At a national awards ceremony hosted by the Italian Tourist Board, on Thursday 18th March, held at The Institute of Directors in Pall Mall, Pax Travel won the category of Best Religious Tour Operator for 2009.
