Pax Travel, at the request of Father Richard Duffield, Provost of the Birmingham Oratory, is able to offer the following arrangements for the English Oratorian parishes and Newman friends as well as for Oratorian and Newman groups coming from abroad, to include accommodation and local transport to the Beatification of John Henry, Cardinal Newman by the Holy Father, Pope Benedict XVI, on Sunday 19th September 2010, and other events and celebrations to be held in Birmingham over this weekend.
Accommodation: All accommodation will be en-suite, either at the University of Birmingham, situated less than 1 mile from the Oratory, or at the Marriott, Crowne Plaza, or Burlington MacDonald hotels in Birmingham. The price for 3 nights stay will include Full English breakfast. The accommodation is booked for arrivals on Friday 17th September, and departure on Monday 20th September.
Transport: by air-conditioned touring coach as follows:
From Birmingham to the event location and return for the Beatification ceremony and Papal Mass on Sunday 19th September.
Pax Travel Tour Managers: will be on hand to assist with the arrangements and any other excursions, restaurant or travel bookings as required.
